Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Trade Connect SA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, service providers, enterprise clients, and others who access or use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Trade Connect SA provides a platform that connects verified service providers, contractors, tradesmen, and suppliers with enterprise buyers, municipalities, and other clients. We provide lead generation, RFQ management, quotation comparison, and verification services.

Trade Connect SA is not a party to any contract, agreement, or relationship formed between service providers and buyers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the services advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, or the ability of service providers to deliver the services.

3. User Accounts & Subscriptions

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your password.

  • Service Providers: Subscription fees are billed monthly at R150 via PayFast. Access to premium features is contingent upon successful payment.
  • Enterprise Clients: Subscription fees are billed monthly at R500 via PayFast.

4. Verification & Compliance

Service providers are responsible for uploading accurate and valid compliance documents (CIDB, BEE, Tax Clearance, etc.). Trade Connect SA reviews these documents but does not independently verify their authenticity with the issuing authorities beyond our standard procedures. Buyers should perform their own due diligence.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information.
  • Using the platform for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempting to interfere with or compromise the system integrity or security.
  • Bypassing the platform to avoid subscription fees or platform rules.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trade Connect SA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our platform.
